The 1 to 4-Day Christmas Pop-In Series

An immersive, story-driven holiday adventure for one family

What if Christmas magic didn’t just arrive once… but kept knocking on your door for four unforgettable days?

The Christmas Pop-In Series is a private, in-home holiday experience created by Acting Up Fantasy Events. A cast of North Pole elves (plus a very special toymaker—and a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus!) arrives at your home across one to four visits, each with its own story, games, and traditions. Designed for one family at a time, this series blends theatre, storytelling, music, and interactive games into a cozy, hilarious, heart-melting tradition your kids will talk about for years.

Meet Your North Pole Crew

Every visit features our original characters, played by professional performers:

  • Evergreen – Leader of the elves. Calm, nurturing, and magical: the “elf mom” who keeps everything grounded.

  • Starling – Sparkly, dramatic, and delightfully over-the-top. Big reactions, bigger heart.

  • Juniper – Pure childlike wonder. Everything is exciting. Everything is magical.

  • Copper – The Soft Mystic. A hearth elf whose quiet warmth carries the deeper magic and stories.

  • Pip – Energetic, curious, slightly chaotic apprentice elf who loves tape, glitter, and giggles.

  • Toymaker Tom – A gloriously grumpy, comedic toymaker with a heart of gold (under all the eye rolls).

  • Santa & Mrs. Claus – Appearing on Day 1 only for an intimate, storybook-style visit.

How It Works

  • Four separate visits to your home on four different days (leading up to Christmas).

  • Each visit lasts around 30 minutes, packed with story, songs, and interactive games.

  • Designed for one household so every child is part of the story.

  • Includes keepsake moments like a special Solstice Egg ornament tradition, a Lantern of the North Star quest, and a Snowflake of Love finale token.

You don’t need to rehearse or prep anything—just open the door, step into the story, and let the elves lead the way.

Day-By-Day Magic

⭐ Day 1 – A Visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus

Tone: Silly • Warm • Whimsical

Santa, Mrs. Claus, Evergreen, and the elves arrive with cozy fireplace energy and a whole lot of laughter.

Highlights:

  • Personal welcome from Santa & Mrs. Claus (Day 1 only).

  • A hilarious Great Christmas Wrapping Contest where family members race to wrap odd objects under silly conditions (oven mitts, one-handed wrapping, etc.).

  • Introduction of your family’s new tradition: Solstice Eggs – each family member receives a white egg to decorate with wishes and hopes for the coming year.

  • A peaceful closing moment with a solstice-inspired Christmas song and a bedtime blessing from the elves.

You’ll end the night with giggles, new traditions, and a house that already feels more magical.

⭐ Day 2 – The Lantern of the North Star

Tone: Adventurous • Quest-like • High-Energy

When the elves return, they bring urgent news: the North Star Lantern, which guides Santa home, is flickering—and your family is the only one who can fix it.

Together, you’ll embark on a five-part “Star Quest” to restore the light:

  • The Solstice Star Fragment – Show off your decorated Solstice Eggs to earn the first star.

  • The Memory Star – Share favorite Christmas memories as the lantern “listens” and grows brighter.

  • The Hidden Star – Solve a riddle and hunt down a hidden star in your home (often near your Christmas tree).

  • The Song Star – Choose a favorite carol and sing a line together to awaken the old magic.

  • The Balance Star – A ridiculous spoon-balancing challenge with special rules for kids, teens, and adults.

When all five star fragments are earned, Copper leads a Lantern Restoration Ceremony, and your family literally brings the light back to Christmas.

⭐ Day 3 – The Spirit of Love

Tone: Emotional • Gentle • Meaningful

The elves arrive softly tonight—no frantic entrances, just warm lantern light and a story.

Copper gathers everyone close to share “The Heart That Shone in the Snow,” an original North Pole tale about:

  • A snow-covered village,

  • A magical snow hare named Lumi,

  • A lantern that only shines when people speak their love out loud.

As the story unfolds, your family is invited into a “Heart Circle” where each person shares something they love about someone else in the family—silly, sweet, or deeply heartfelt. The elves respond with warmth and humor, and the lantern glows brighter with each word.

To honor your family’s love, the elves present the Snowflake of Love, a token representing the rarest magic of the North: love spoken aloud.

The visit ends with a family photo moment, with the elves arranging a magical, lantern-lit picture you can treasure forever.

⭐ Day 4 – The Toymaker’s Challenge (Christmas Eve)

Tone: Hysterical • Theatrical • Big Finale

On the final day, the elves do NOT arrive quietly.

They burst through the door in full panic about a “Christmas emergency,” launch into a comedic opening, and reveal that today is Toymaker Tom’s legendary final test.

Your kids become Toymaker’s Apprentices in:

  • The Christmas Mummy Challenge – Children choose a grownup “champion” and have one song’s length to wrap them from head to toe using toilet paper and ribbon while the elves provide running commentary.

  • Silly Award Ceremony – Titles like Most Completely Wrapped, Most Artistic, Most Chaotic Elf Energy, Best Toilet Paper Engineering, and the coveted Bow-Master Award for the littlest star.

  • Final certification as Official Master Wrappers of the North Pole.

The series closes with classic Christmas songs, final blessings from Evergreen and Copper, and one last over-the-top goodbye as the elves “rush off to help Santa pack the sleigh.”

What Families Experience

Over four visits, your family will:

  • Meet and interact with fully costumed, in-character elves, a toymaker, and Santa & Mrs. Claus

  • Sing along with beloved Christmas songs (no vocal talent required—just enthusiasm!)

  • Build a new family tradition with Solstice Eggs and heart-sharing moments

  • Laugh (a lot) during interactive games and wrapping challenges

  • Share meaningful time together away from screens

  • Receive tangible tokens of the story: Solstice Eggs, the Lantern’s restored light, the Snowflake of Love, and photos with the elves

This series is especially magical for families with children, but we design each visit so grownups feel just as included and enchanted.

Perfect For

  • Families who want a multi-day Christmas tradition instead of a one-off Santa photo

  • Kids who love stories, pretend play, and interactive games

  • Households looking to bring more meaning and connection into the holidays

  • Grandparents looking for a gift experience that becomes a core family memory
