ABOUT THE TEAM
Once upon a time in a theater not so far away, three kindred spirits met under the lights of Mary Poppins—and the magic never stopped. Acting Up Fantasy Events is led by a trio of lifelong performers who believe in bringing storybook worlds to life. Founder Ashley Sandahl grew up in Massachusetts, where her love of theater was sparked by her Nana, director at Highfield Hall Community Theater. Ashley has loved playing the roles of Maria in The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, and the Narrator in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Zachary Eden, a Broadway-obsessed New Yorker with a razor-sharp wit and a ridiculous number of playbills, dashed into the role of Bert and charmed the cast and audience alike.
Cassandra Pasquerosa, a Cape Cod native with a love of history and rich, immersive lore, dazzles as Nancy in Oliver and is an expert puppeteer. She’s the imagination behind The Last Light of Tullowyth, and a fearless builder of magical worlds. Together, this merry trio founded Acting Up Fantasy Events—an immersive theater company bringing enchanted quests, whimsical weddings, and magical mayhem to life across Asheville and beyond.
