Step into a world where stories sing and songs tell stories. Acting Up Fantasy Events presents Celtic Songs & Storytellers at the Plaid Festival at Mills River Brewery — a journey through Irish and Scottish folklore told with laughter, harmony, and a touch of theatrical enchantment.
Featuring classic pub favorites like Whiskey in the Jar, The Wild Rover, and The Black Velvet Band, alongside beloved ballads like Danny Boy and The Skye Boat Song, this set travels through centuries of Celtic storytelling — from the mischief of The Tinker and the Leprechaun to the mythic depths of One for Old One-Eye.
You’ll also hear an original piece, The Tipsy Pixie, written by Acting Up Fantasy Events and performed straight from their Original Immersive Fantasy Musical, The Last Light of Tullowyth.
